Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks

My wife and I traveled to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks in October, 2024. These are amazing parks with great opportunities to capture pictures of wonderful scenery and wildlife.

Rockefeller State Park Preserve Project

I’ve been photgraphing the birds and scenery at Rockefeller State Park Preserve for over two years and have a website dedicated to this project.

Wildlife and Scenery of Costa Rica

Costa Rica gives a photographer a chance to take amazing pictures of birds, wildlife and scenery. Traveling the country with friends in October, 2025 I was really happy with the bird pictures I was able to take while there.

Shawangunk Grasslands National Wildlife Refuge

Shawangunk is best know for the short-eared owls that winter-over there. The grassland also is home to northern harriers, kestrels, song birds, and a red-tailed hawk named Millie.

The Vistas of Shenendoah National Park

We visited Shenendoah National Park in October, 2023 and had a great time taking pictures. Skyline Drive is magnificent and offers an incredible number of vista points. If you are fortunate enough to be there at sunset you’ll be amazed at the colors of the sky with the mountains in the distance.

The Shores and Mountains of Acadia National Park

In August, 2023 we were fortunate to make our second trip to Acadia National Park in Maine. In addition to having many places serving Maine lobster and blueberry pie, the park offers great scenery along it’s roads and hiking trails. Unfortunately I didn’t see a moose but Grand Teton National Park made up for this 🙂
